We lost raised by wolves and foundation keeps going?

Don’t get me wrong. I like foundation. But it isn’t… great. It’s good, solid high concept scifi. And I like it. But it’s not groundbreaking.

I hope Apple somehow brings raised by wolves back. I need comics or a video game or SOMETHING.

    DADDY NEEDS HIS MEDICINE.

Raised by Wolves was HBO. Different networks, different standards.

        Yeah I know.

Warner bros. Discovery is in the process of being sold and I’ve read that Apple is on the list of potential buyers.

Seems like the kind of prestige project they’d fund. If they bought Warner discovery.

If there is anything hbo can be counted on doing, it’s cancelling something good. I mean, it’s that or letting something run long enough to ruin itself.

Quick change it for Constellation, then it’ll work.

Are they? I think I fizzled out in either season 2 or 3. I really liked season 1 though.

Both seasons 2 and 3 have amazing moments. Lee Pace (Day) and Laura Birn (Demerzel) are just phenomenal. And the season 3 finale is completely unhinged!

As far as I was concerned, Brother Day was the only reason to keep watching the show. I’ll probably pick it back up at some point.

It’s a mixed bag. Some seasons are better than others. But it’s still better than most of the crap that’s on streaming these days.

Season 2 has weird moments but a good plot for the Empire side of things.

Season 3 is just better all around in my opinion.

the books did have a plot, but each one was spilt into short stories/novellas that focused on different characters, separated by timeskips. in fact the first book is made of five short stories which would’ve each made for 45-60 minutes of TV.

I would have preferred a truer adaptation, with each story being an episode or two. I think they assumed people wouldn’t be invested with constantly changing characters.

But the books didn’t have a plot, so a good adaptation just wouldn’t work
