It is easier in french where products like Twix, Mars and Snickers are called “chocolatey bars”. They have some chocolate but if they were chocolate we would call them chocolate.

Twix is a chocolate bar made by Mars Inc., consisting of a biscuit applied with other confectionery toppings and coatings (most frequently caramel and milk chocolate).

    Sounds about right.

i think it depends on the ratio of chocolate x biscuit. For example Milka bars with Oreos are indeed chocolate with pieces of cookies, not cocolate cookies

Or for those of us in the US, it’s a chocolate covered cookie. But don’t listen to the US, tis a silly place.

“Bar” describes geometry; “biscuit” describes composition. Not only are they not mutually exclusive, they’re orthogonal categories.
