Yeah, that’s the problem with shibari. It just takes so much time to set up. It looks amazing from an aesthetics standpoint, but it’s a bit more artistic than purely sexy in my eyes. Restraints are the opposite and exactly as you say, it’s about being put at the mercy of someone else and can be done so rather quickly and easily when the mood strikes if you know what you’re doing.
