If they’re in the same sarlacc, maybe Boba only managed it because the sarlacc was currently weakened by the psychic battle with the sith lord. Who in turn capitalizes on the distraction caused by Boba to then escape himself.

Everything in Star Wars has happened a long time ago, in a galaxy far away, and it’s a rich universe of millions of words and millions of years of history. So current Earthly matters really shouldn’t concern us here. In other words, leave politics, philosophies and convictions behind the door.
