Someone is suddenly uncomfortable with his level of complicity.

I’m sure the Palestinians killed by his autograph feel much better now.

    Fucking piece of shit.

So frustrating when someone with an admirable skill is a moral pariah. The guy has genuinely studio perfect vocal compression. Every metal vocalist knows it. You don’t need to like disturbed to hear it.

Joins the ranks of R Kelly and Kanye, Tim Lambesis, P Diddy, Ian Watkins, etc.

May AI bastardize their catalogues 🙏

Piece of shit, not quite Ian Watkins. We all have trump fans in our familes somewhere, they aren’t all infant abusing pedofiles

If any of my trump family members signed a bomb and said they hoped the dead kids it killed would come to their show, I would 100% disown them the same.

    Fuck him for this.

Very very much smaller stakes here, but also fuck him for naming his shit band “Device” when Device was already an incredible (if obscure) 80s hair metal band, which included Holly Knight (who wrote Love Is A Battlefield among other songs).

Amusingly the music video for Device (the good one)'s “Who Says” (youtube link here, and I highly recommend at least listening to the song if not also watching the video, it’s a BANGER) has a comment from Holly herself from ten years ago throwing shade at this shithead for taking the band name anyways after he asked her for it and she said no.

This is the guy that wanted the dead children to come to his concert, right? You’re never going to get anything approaching a straight answer from this asshole.

As someone who spent his 20’s working in the music industry, I think it’s important to underline that success or talent for a person in music has literally nothing to do with that person’s intelligence.

Doesn’t mean they can’t be smart, but it’s far more likely than people think that the musicians you love are kinda dumb as fuck.

I think that lack of self analysis/awareness frees up the capacity to convey raw emotion or something…

Fuck Draiman, and good that this article is calling him out.

But at the same time, it’s in itself still both sides-ing a genocide and was a somewhat infuriating read.

This is ridiculous. It’s hard to believe the guy who wrote “Let the Bodies Hit the Floor” is capable of this. Does he actually think his fan base in the death metal murder scene will tolerate this sort of behavior?

That plus the death metal murder scene referring to Disturbed makes me think it was satire

        Down With the Sickness*.

…I got my songs mixed up. When I was in the death metal murder scene in highschool, these songs were on the same playlists. At this point I listen to Taylor Swift and electronica.

Regardless, it is outrageous that the person behind the “No mommy, don’t do it again” song would do this. Unacceptable.
