    You can be suspicious of Newsom and also acknowledge that he’s right about the federal level thing, though.

      Was gonna say this. At the state level people just leave your state. At the federal level it’s a lot harder to ignore.

      He’s wrong about his proposal actually doing anything, his suggestion is an income tax, not a wealth tax.
