The irony of two ICE agents, one black and one seemingly a Cuban immigrant, racially profiling a black man and cuffing him and carting him off without ever even identifying him because they say he’s an immigrant.

It kills me how often these videos show brown and black ICE agents violating the US Constitution to abduct and beat people for being brown or black. I don’t care how much ICE pays, it’s not worth selling out your own values and everything that was supposed to be good about this country.

    • Calling out Google’s AI for giving racist responses
    • Posting Ms. Rachel asking people to give a shit about all the black people being found hanged from trees

    What do you see that leads you to believe that’s a sane or reasonable question? Of course I condemn killing innocent people in the street and abducting people randomly based mostly on skin color to concentration camps.

    You seem so eager to see people as evil you’ve completely lost your capacity for reasoning.

      Just another person looking for excuses to hate others instead of caring to try to understand and help anyone different from yourself. That’s sad.

      No, it’s not. A lot of those places around here have gone to having 2-3 employees and making you do everything through their app before you show up.

      I don’t understand what this is. It’s like some weird tribalism. If someone tries to understand what causes normal humans to join and do evil instead of chanting the approved script they get seen as bad.

      Acting like hating murderers is just tribalism. As if they were just handed a script saying “these guys are baddies” and not they could, idk, hate fucking murderers.

        No, you’re looking for an excuse to hate random strangers on the internet. Me, in this instance. You’re trying to see attempting to understand what drives people to do these things as somehow excusing horrible crimes against humanity because you want to be angry and anyone doing more than chanting “kill nazis!” seems like someone you might be able to construe as somehow supporting atrocities.

        No, I’m not. The prices of rent and everything have skyrocketed. Many people are in extreme financial hardship. If you have children that you need to keep in a stable home and fed and no relatives you can turn to for help there isn’t actually a lot you can do. A whole lot of people are in that shitty situation right now.

        That’s how people can be willing to sign up for a thing they hate. Then human nature kicks in and over far too little time doing awful things to other people becomes just a part of the daily routine and they start to see those other people as lesser or deserving of what they’re doing to them.

        None of that excuses committing crimes against humanity. But if you give an actual fuck about stopping people from joining up then you need to give an actual fuck about what pushes people to do it.

        No. The massive downvotes I’m getting and hating a person for simply trying to understand what causes humans to walk down this path so that we might better learn how to avoid it happening in the future is the tribalism.
