US president is said to expect renewed strikes after midterms
It’s amazing how a few weeks to an upcoming election changes politicians and the events they direct. Republicans are distancing themselves from Trump, and Trump isn’t gonna bomb Iran until after the elections. Perhaps we should have continual elections?
Part of the deal was that Israel had to stop bombing Lebanon. That is probably a big part of why Trump rehected it.
The first ceasefire deal included the US handing Iran $300 billion. The current rejected ceasefire deal only wanted $12 billion in funds unlocked, withdrawal of forces and no more Israel bombing Lebanon.
The $12 billion can’t be the deal breaker becuase of the previous $300 billion offer. The withdrawal of forces probably isn’t the deal breaker because most deescalation deals would include something like it. This leaves stopping Israel bombing Lebanon as the reason to reject the deal.

It’s a mistake for Iran to ask for that as part of deal, because US/Trump do not have direct authority over Israel. Iran has no direct authority over Hezbolah, Hamas, or Al Ansaralah, and its too big of an ask to force US and Israel to become enemies over that element of the deal. Israel only cares about destroying Iran at whatever costs to US/world it entails, so that there is no longer any opposition to greater Israel future conquest plans, and it just sets them up to veto any negotiated deal.

We should be fully expecting either a preemptive strike on Cuba on October 22 because of “intercepted communications of imminent attacks on Florida legislature” or full on false flag drone attacks from Cuba on mostly Florida. Bonus points if he willingly sacrifices Cuban/American Marco Rubio in the attack.
Either one happens because it will be an excuse to skip the elections and have trump become a wartime president.
