6·19 days agoSo the NDP had a majority and the Cons were in tatters. Calling a snap election was such a power-grabby mistake. Now the Cons are projected to win and if they do, credit can be given squarely to Eby for it, sadly.
Snap elections shouldn’t even be allowed imo except in some rare circumstances.

1·27 days agoI’m not sure, but I’ve always had that issue when I used to try posting on the main vegan sub on reddit, so maybe there’s some sort of correlation going on . . .
How can these anti-human psychos even get into positions of governing power in the first place? Governance should be about serving people and upholding human rights, not the bloody opposite.

Canada shares 2 borders with Europe:
A land border with Denmark via Hans Island between Nunavut & Greenland, as well as a naval border with France via the islands of Saint-Pierre & Miquelon just 25 kilometres away from Newfoundland & Labrador.
From what I’ve read, each share their cultures with one another across their borders. It’s really quite interesting tbh ♡

Unfortunately, the current German government is pretty right wing, which makes their actual nazi party’s win in one of their states that much more alarming.
