It’s also hypocritical because companies fully expect you to pretend to like your job for their own satisfaction.

Just avoid buying it.
Simply avoiding meat is a lot easier than going completely vegan. You have a very good motivator to do so right now too.
I had this happen once. It was my fault for waiting too long to take her in and get her sprayed but I felt so bad about the idea of having to trap her and betray her trust to do it.
I did manage to rehome all 3 of her kittens though.
Just don’t eat meat, it’s better for everyone that way.
There’s a lot of femcel communities that do say that, as well as calling them the same slurs they call men. There’s this rhetoric that trans women are a form of misogyny, that men decided to replace women with themselves to devalue “real women” and so on.
It’s mostly restricted to certain corners of the internet so it’s not taken that seriously.

News@lemmy.world•Trump demands all Canadian companies doing business with the US move to America ‘immediately’
3·2 天前Well yes but there obviously needs to be more aggressive pushback involving real consequences when even simple talk of pushing these boundaries begins.
Appeasement and gentle refusals tend to only invite more aggressive militant responses.
I’m sure undesirables like us who can’t be forced into the military will be forced into work camps.

News@lemmy.world•Trump demands all Canadian companies doing business with the US move to America ‘immediately’
7·2 天前It’s only a matter of time before he begins to really push the boundaries physically.
They have it easier though.
It’s easy to spout off nonsense over and over on repeat. It takes time to sit there and explain how that nonsense is wrong, and by the time you’ve handled that the person you corrected has already moved on and started spouting more nonsense.
Internet fishing is fun.
Yeah it sucks. Everyone is into brainrot ai content these days.

8·3 天前I thought this was already being done almost from the onset of the current U.S. regime?
People aren’t going back and forth on this decision. It’s definitely something that needs to be done and they need to stick to it. Build up your own infrastructure before it’s too late.

1·3 天前Thanks, I’ll look all of this up later and see how I can handle it.
Doesn’t matter what anyone says at this point. A lot of the damage is done.
Anyone regardless of generation who voted for him might be sorrowful now but they haven’t changed. They’d absolutely vote for Trump again.
Surprised no one posted the Pokemon Twitter hack that happened yesterday.
I’m not. There were some awful parts of the 90s.
It’ll never be the same anyway. Something that a lot of legacy gaming servers has taught me is that you can’t replicate nostalgic memories.
It might have. A lot of these people I’m seeing picking it up are women.

I don’t believe zoos should exist. Those animals deserve to be free in their natural environments living the lives they were meant to live rather than being imprisoned.
