15·4 days agoLook on the makemkv forum for Libre Drives and what models are usable.
ASUS BW-16D1HT is a valid drive for libre drive and is what I use and can be sourced on Amazon. The pop it in an external enclosure if needed and flash the firmware for it on one of the pinned posts.
I personally don’t pirate, but want to power my media server with the movies I buy, libre+makemkv does the trick for me.
Drinking in the morning. Drinking in the evening. Drinking at supper time. When drinking on a bagel you can have drinking anytime.

4·13 days agoFriends mom is a POS, it doesn’t seem to bother him, he hates her too. But I’m sure he’d much rather have a healthy relationship with her if it was possible, that part probably hurts some what.
2·17 days agoI use fastmail for this, maybe give it a shot if you haven’t heard of them before. I’ve never had their domain blocked so far. You create masked emails for whichever service you need. It’s also integrated into 1password.

1·23 days agoI know there have been active strides in this department but I think I’d want to see more compatibility/support for various game anti cheats before I switch to linux

The flowermen are strangely difficult to kill compared to others, and there’s always a swarm of the most of the time.

1·1 month agoI assume you’ve looked to see if your carrier has anything similar? ATT I think made it to help with the car warranty spam calls back then.
If you happen to live in the US and use ATT, look into their ActiveArmor app. It has call blocking and can confirm that it’s a real carrier-level block. Caller will receive some call message similar to “this number is not accepting call at this time”.
Idk if there is a limit, but maybe worth your time for persistent callers or ex-partners and such.
Not that I’m celebrating, but I would expect this number to be higher…
What a complete waste of time and energy.
