I’d love for you to define blue-maga and explain how you think it applies to me.

The fuck kind of false equivalence is that?
Holding your nose and voting for the non-MAGA option in the general election is not at all the same as throwing a social media temper tantrum on behalf of your “team”, no matter how condescendingly you phrase it.

It took me awhile to figure out the correct setup to get Sonarr, qbittorrent, and Jellyfin all to play nicely together, but once you get it figured out, it transparently addresses the problems of folder structure and allowing you to keep seeding content.
I had the same issue as you, initially, where I had to do a ton of library maintenance in Jellyfin. But since using Sonarr to monitor and import media from torrents to a structured media library, Jellyfin has been pretty hands-off

Cold air tends to be very dry, which can most definitely irritate your nose and throat (among other body parts). That irritation and drying out can make the thin skin and mucous membranes more vulnerable to attack from bacteria and viruses.
The only really unscientific part of your post is that the cold air itself is not the direct cause of illness.
People with a strong immune system might not see a big difference, but if you are already more susceptible to getting sick, then the link to cold air may be more obvious to you.

Having been surprised to see Tool twice in this thread, I think you hit the nail on the head.
Between Maynard’s voice, and the basslines OP mentioned, they definitely have a distinctive sound, and I could see how it could blur together as background / casual listening music. Especially if you listen to mostly mixes ot playlists.
Personally, I almost exclusively listen to music by album, and I think thats where Tool’s songs really become more distinct from each other.
It doesn’t even need to be that fancy. Basic ones will just react to reduced flow on the hot or cold side by reducing the other side proportionally to keep the temperature roughly the same.

I know you’re being somewhat tongue-in-cheek, but being an honest, trustworthy, and genuinely pleasant person to deal with will let you get away with at least a 10-25% premium in my opinion (depending on project size). More importantly, if you can deliver that service without charging too much of a premium, you’ll be the first, and maybe only, person I call or recommend for the next project.
I kind of miss the yearly wheel swap. I live in the Chicago area now where the last several years seem like they have single digit days with anow accumulation.
Still do tire rotations every 6mo so it’s almost then same!
Yay global warming.

I have not. But if they are on Lemmy, share their username and I’ll get some popcorn lol

Context maybe, and a bit of critical thinking?
Look at the subject of the thread, and look at what they said. It’s clearly not something a MAGA on Lemmy would post in response to a news article critical of Trump, but a parody of what a MAGA would have said that led to the situation being described by the article.
But shit, for whatever reason people on Lemmy see a few downvotes, immediately take that as evidence that it’s a serious comment, and don’t give it a second thought. It’s all over the place here.

I think you’re partially right, but only about everything having a separate app.
The reality is connected devices will be so ubiquitous and commonplace that the interface will become standarfized and totally tansparent. Connecting to any arbitrary device will be as simple as connecting to an arbitray web server through a browser.
Every device needing its own app is temporary and unsustainable.

I downvoted you because your blatant sarcasm wasn’t punctuated with a “/s”, so there was a 0.007% chance you were being sincere.

Naw, fuck any cutesy nicknames that let MAGA minimize his crimes.
Let’s stick with “Donald J Trump, child rapist”
“Ding fries are done” is solid ancient internet, but these days I feel a little icky for laughing at it. Its not outright making fun of developmentally-disabled people, but it’s adjacent enough to be a bit… like “it was a different time” kind of humor.

Man, my wife and I were super into the first season of Stranger Things. The nostalgia factor and old school horror movie feel really came together. But after watching Season 2 it was clear they were just going to keep amping up the action scenes at the expense of the plot and atmosphere. So disappointing.
I caught a glimpse of a recent episode somewhere and it was just dozens monsters running around getting shot at by an army of guns and Eleven doing some overpowered Jean Grey shit. Yawn…

Shit, even at historic lows of 3% interest it only drops the monthly payment by about 25%, but increases the total cost of the loan by 80%.
Its absolutely a terrible idea.

Mike Johnson once downvoted picture of a cute kitten peeking out of a box… on c/cats, no.less!
Dammit, this one is subtle. I spent way too long looking for some context clue I was missing before I realized what comm this is.

I do. I mean, its not like I’m going to fuck up “add 2 cups of water, boil for 5 minutes, drain, add seasoning packet” right?
Wait, shit, was it “boil for 2 minutes”? OK cool, 5 minutes.
Boil 5 minutes then… add milk? Oh, no milk… cool
I know what blue maga means. That’s why I asked you to explain why the hell you’re so eager to lump anyone who ultimately makes a pragmatic choice in the general election, after all other choices have been exhausted, in with the crowd that has spent months/years actively pushing to ensure the worst possible option is running against a fascist.
The wildest part is we dont even disagree, so save your fucking smugness.
