We are already successful, I’m seeing stories, news articles, and videos that normally would never get pushed to the top. We can actually talk about things without overwhelming censorship, strange algorithms, or ads.

I usually just take a look at the code with a get request. Then if it looks good, then run manually. Most of the time, it’s fine. Sometimes there’s something that would break something on the system.

I haven’t seen anything explicitly nefarious, but it’s better to be safe than sorry.

I wish gog supported Linux like valve does.

Don’t get me wrong, I love steam and would probably keep buying it the platform given the chance.

However (it’s very unlikely) valve could go and do a Google and start locking down their store and there is realistically nothing I can do about it (other than yo ho). Gog doesn’t have that problem with drm free games. But they really don’t support open source like valve has gone.

Yeah they essentially killed about half the extensions I use. I have to use the browser for work.

It’s very difficult to use. As a dev, it’s not the greatest.
