Current-gen AI isn’t great. It’s a stepping stone on the way to something that might be great, if we can figure out how to make it be something other than an accelerant for a species-ending ecological disaster.
Even if life is meaningless, destroying the planet for future generations is an extremely shitty thing to do
We can just kill all future generations
How does that make AI great? Seems like those statements are unrelated.
