“Taxes are theft” bullshit grift spotted. Tapping the sign.

Taxes themselves are not theft, but the misuse of those taxes (such as waging purposeless war, refurbishing your gifted airplane emoluments, funneling money to a family member’s private business, putting public money into crypto scams, or vandalizing public monuments) is a kind of theft.
That’s embezzlement from the treasury, which is different than pretending that taxes going into the Treasury is theft.
Arguably, both the red and yellow can be theft at the same time
But in reality, community expenses don’t pay themselves and only whiny lolbertarian babies think that taxes to pay for those things is theft, so it is “arguable”, but making the argument says more about you than about taxes.
I meant more so neutrally in the sense of people in general having subjective takes and experiences and as such neither chart being the objective universal truth. If in your view potatoes are disgusting and in mine they aren’t and we replace ‘potatoes’ with [insert whatever thing we’re talking about], it ultimatelly does come down to a personal view of things.
If taxes are our topic, I wouldn’t think of the view on them as binary in the first place as either theft or not. Which government? How does the government handle said taxes, as in, what does it do with them? If it’s a corrupt nation where most taxes go to middlemen and criminal politicians stuffing their pockets that put some taxes into community services symbolically to not be as blatant, yes - it is theft; if it’s a responsible government actively trying to improve things and maintain what is already proper, then no, it isn’t. And even then, taxes being stolen or not depends on how they’re used by each government segment rather than the whole government as a whole - since it’s not binary either theft or not.
Yes, one could argue that. One could also argue the world is flat. Arguing is easy.
I don’t think they were talking about taxes, unless I’m mistaken. It’s obviously about wage theft, right?
Edit: Nvm I forgot taxes work differently in the US

it’s basically a stock photo. If someone used AI to make this, they’re dumb as rocks.
I don’t see any signs of this being slop. Am I already losing my ability to tell?
I can never not upvote the never slop kitto, but after zooming in, I think this may actually be one of the original images that was stolen and fed to the slop machines.
It’s gonna get hard telling original images that were bitcrushed by reuploads and ai images that look bitcrushed because of not enough passes.
The only part that looks a little odd to me is the plant on the left
Wow, it’s weird how that completely change my mind about it. It has several things that point to AI IMO. A lazily done background plant wouldn’t have several of the odd details that it has, and all of those are common AI red flags. Lines “drawn” from an outside edge to an inside detail in a weird way is the most obvious one.
I might be wrong, maybe thia style was stolen by AI and that’s why it reminds me of it now.
Also, it seems a bit yellow, I think.
Maybe it’s made out of styrene and OP left it out in the sun.
This reminds me of “out of context terrible WikiHow artwork” memes. Here’s one I found randomly on their front page

This meme predates slop.
Hey I’m okay with paying forty percent tax when it helps feed, clothe and shelter the needy and funds our universal healthcare.
profits steal from you and do none of those things
op image didn’t say tax
If only that was what it was used for.
😃 “Fight with memes”
🤮 “X”

Best I can do on my shite phone
Taxes aren’t theft. They pay for roads and other services everyone uses. Framing them as they is right wing bullshit.
Yeah but about the slush funds and ballrooms and wars no one wants? That part sounds like theft to me.
Hey, come on now. They aren’t eating the kids. Just repeatedly raping them.

Hey there’s a difference between eating a child and drinking their blood. When will the Poor’s learn…
