Yeah it’s the same here in Canada. It’s honestly not even like we don’t have guns; I grew up in a small town and a lot of families had them for hunting. The difference though is that they were always locked up and treated as a dangerous tool rather than just a toy or a fashion accessory like they seem to be in the US.
The thought of fearing for my life regularly to the point where I feel the need to carry a firearm for self preservation is absurd to me and gives me active warzone vibes. I don’t understand how Americans can’t see that adding more guns is the most brain dead “solution” to their problems.
They haven’t even used their weapons to take on an oppressive government like they’ve endlessly claimed they’d do
