What a Republican human being.

The House voted 232-147 to table another resolution brought by Rep. Green regarding aggressive immigration enforcement.

Eighteen literally doesn’t matter and might politically help them in red/purple area to not vote for a impeachment that will ultimately lose.

That’s a lot of words saying “it doesn’t matter enough”, much like trans rights it seems.

A side conversation, I’m going to guess is it the support of trans women in sports specifically?

This is such a weird one for me and one that does get me to think a lot and wrestle with it since it’s such a complex issue.

And yet Talarico did the same math you cited to say it doesn’t matter enough

And yet when it comes time, yet again the same shit centrists are there fucking it all up and Democratic leadership failing to lead on the issue.

          https://www.advocate.com/politics/medicaid-gender-affirming-care-bill

The bill, introduced by Republican Rep. Dan Crenshaw of Texas, passed 215 to 201 Thursday with four Democrats voting in favor: Texas Reps. Henry Cuellar and Vicente Gonzalez, North Carolina Rep. Don Davis, and Washington Rep. Marie Gluesenkamp Perez. It now goes to the Senate, where it is unclear if it has the support needed to pass.

Would have passed without those four democrats and four out of the two hundred and five there means democrats still overwhelmingly support trans rights.

And yet, without any need for them to be horrible assholes, your shitty centrist still went out of their way to harm trans people.

Not exactly what I would call a great moment in morality there. Just because Republicans had the numbers to pass it by themselves doesn’t mean shitty centrist Democrats get a pass for fucking over trans kids and their parents. That’s not the defense you think it is.
