Democrats if they ever get the white house again: “Well, we better keep the plaques. We don’t want to upset them.”

Oh don’t worry, a big chunk of the likely Democrat voter population will make sure they lose.

Fixing the plaques is easy and they’d do that. It’s funny that people criticize Trump for using the presidency for revenge but then demand that Democrats do the same thing.

It’s funny how your slip is showing over and over. We have literal Russians in our governments and people like you clap. GFY and go send some flowers to Trump and the rest of the GOP who in many cases would have had fusillade treatment a long time ago. There are crimes more than worthy of that.

He’s no longer in favor. ‘Never fight uphill, me boys, never fight uphill.’ They were fighting uphill, he said, ‘Wow, that was a big mistake,’ he lost his great general. ‘Never fight uphill, me boys,’ but it was too late.”

If you’ve ever spent time with an adolescent, you will understand how scary the idea of school children, with unlimited power, money, and knowledge of the world, is truly horrifying. I’m not scared of school children, but if one had a bazooka pointed at you, I bet you’d be finding cover like the rest of us.

the issue with maga recognizing it is they relish it. that’s what they’re here for. they think this is what it means to hold the elite accountable: sending mean tweets, being a petty bitch, lashing out omnidirectionally.

where trump is losing people, and i’m starting to really see it in my community, is his claims that america has never been more affordable than it is today. you can lie about why you’re going to war and the dangers posed by people racists don’t talk to, but you can’t lie about the price of bread. you can’t hide that. everyone can tell if the cost of living is getting better or worse. they can tell because we’re all living it

There seems to be a weird aversion to anything that can be seen as politics in America. So I think most of the general public there are not aware of the political ongoings so if and when they vote they see a male and female running they just vote in the male irregardless of who they are.

Happily, enthusiastically. I don’t think she’ll be the one to take it in 2028, though, and I’d rather not see her burn her political viability this early in her career.

I’d love to see her unseat Schmuck Schumer, and help Bernie cement the Progressive foundation in the Senate, the way she did in the House. She inspired many others to run for Congress, and now she can help them get a strong foothold on the Senate, too. That’s as important a job to the future of America as being president for a few years.

After she’s spent a decade or so in the Senate, perhaps as Senate Majority leader or some other leadership role, she should have the support of the voters to be President, and I think she’ll make a truly great one. Just give her time.

The problem, is that few others approach her in terms of credibility, and we can’t have another weak Democratic placeholder, just filling in long enough for voters to be convinced by a relentless flood of propaganda that they are really better off living in economic and social instability for their entire lives, so that the wealthy can be even more comfortable than they already are. That’s been the role of literally EVERY Democratic president since Carter. Not one of them did anything substantial to protect American citizens from a takeover by the nastiest organized criminals the world has to offer.

Trump has cheated at everything he’s ever done in life. He is astonishingly ignorant because he bullied other kids into doing every homework assignment he ever had. We know he called on Putin to manipulate the 2016 election. He tried to take back the 2020 election by force.

By 2024, he was facing almost certain conviction for his Insurrection AND stealing hundreds of classified documents, and was facing a life sentence in prison.

So you are telling me that after a lifetime of cheating in everything he does, even when he doesn’t have to, just because he figures it will give some sort of an advantage, the ONE election that he DIDN’T cheat in, is the one election that would keep him out of prison for the rest of his life. You actually believe that?

          And I’M a “fucking idiot?”

One thing is that America hasn’t given a new presidency to the same party that held the office since the 1980s, at there’s already a tendency to waffle back and forth.

Trump got through the GOP primaries by virtue of energizing the racist hateful folks that people like McCain famously tried to talk down.

With the general election, people were miffed about Bernie, polling told them they could safely sit it out and Trump would still lose, and frankly people didn’t think Trump would be that terrible, even if they didn’t like him.

His first term made us a laughing stock and inflicted injustice at the border, but was mostly milquetoast otherwise until the pandemic, which tanked any chance at the election

Then various things contributed to a terrible economy with Biden, so people voted for “different”, and hey, Trump was not great but, pandemic aside, domestic situation wasn’t so bad…

So now here we are, an administration totally off the leash…

Nothing seems to mean anything anymore.

Like it’s batshit crazy and the right and left and people eat it up and it makes them feel like they are a part of something because they haven’t cultivated their own worth as a human being beyond their consumerism and materialism. Their values are based on their owners ideologies that they are born into and not universal human understanding.

All I can do is watch all of it and want to kill myself when I realize everything truly is and has been bullshit and so many lives are wasted in participating is the bullshit culture they manipulate people with.
