Republicans would accuse Jesus of being a communist trans hippie before crucifying him again.

honestly, Trump is likely one of the worst and most corrupt humans in history. Like Roman emperor levels of inhumanity and insanity.

Except accounts of bad Roman emperors are likely exaggerated accounts from their opposition, while Trump’s are well documented.

yes. all teachers are liberal commies and wannabe dictators. the only person in a position of authority that should be respected is cops, as they’re pure blooded americans saving us from the terrors of cyclists. also, members of the military should be fellated on sight, or at minimum given a discreet handy.

Correction: military personnel should be offered fellatio. If they accept, then they’re queer antifa commies who should stop asking for handouts. And they’re discharged.

I believe it’s actually a lower-grade of anti-intellectualism, and teachers are just catching stray shots. The apple-giving student is over-eager, an over-achiever. They are fastidious in proposing a squeaky-clean persona toward authority to get ahead (and they’ll probably lord it over you, the “normal” student, as a teacher’s pet).

Boy am I glad a significant percentage of our population is glued to a 24/7 bigoted hate channel and too stupid to see it for what it clearly is.

Imagine being so stupid you keep watching a “news” channel that settled for a record $800 million for lying to its viewers.

Sorry y’all. This country ain’t gonna be fixed after the Pedo-In-Chief is gone. Not by a long shot. If anything, he just let all the other weasel leeches know how far they can push the envelope.

To be elected, someone needs to win the swing voters who aren’t rabid Republicans or rabid Democrats. Hillary Clinton’s candidacy, Obama’s presidency, and Kamala Harris’ run for office shows that a lot of those swing voters are racist and sexist.

Even if Fox News went off the air tomorrow, along with Newsmax and all the various right-wing podcasts and streaming junk, there are a lot of swing voters who won’t vote for a woman, or won’t vote for a gay man, or won’t vote for someone without white skin. Many of them probably don’t even think of themselves as bigots. They just think things like “I support women, and I had no problem with Hillary Clinton as secretary of state, but commander in chief of the military is different, maybe if she had military experience…” Or, they’ll think “I have gay friends, and Mayor Pete seems like a great guy, he’s really smart and caring, but I don’t think people who choose that lifestyle really have the right values to lead the country”. Or they’ll think “I don’t have a problem with it, but people in Washington will, and they’ll never get anything done as president.”

Of course outlets like Fox News are always going to go hard after every Democrat, even a straight, white, male, christian one. Maybe that will influence some swing voters. But, it’s more about energizing enraging their base. I don’t think your typical swing voter is a fox news addict.

Nah, cuz if you actually own it like Obama did and they keep hammering on who you are and what you are proud of, they start to sound ridiculous, one note, and like they couldn’t find an actual thing to complain about you.

If Biden’s VP had been a staight, white man, he might have won. The US is a sexist, racist, generally bigoted place. If you ask someone on a phone survey if they would vote for a woman, many of them will say yes. They may not even be lying, they just believe they’re not sexist until it’s actually time to vote, and then they come up with some excuse to justify why they didn’t vote for the woman.

To be honest, I’m still surprised that Obama won. But, the whole Tea Party thing, and then Trump was all in reaction to a black man being elected president.

I have my own theory about that…

Basically people were willing to vote for a black president to prove that they weren’t racist, but when he actually won, that was a bridge too far.

You can literally hand me a stack of dollars to abuse my position in government and if anyone calls me on it I will simply and very publicly retaliate against them and face no consequences for my corruption. Hell I even released a child rapist cause fuck children and fuck Texans. But you’ll still vote for me cause of the R next to my name. Fuck you!”

Perhaps, but one of them has no shame, and the other has no spine. And Democrats still need to pretend they oppose Republicans.

Both parties should ultimately be removed, and the US should adopt a parliamentary system instead of the current one (that is arguably worse than a parliamentary monarchy such as the one in the UK), and this probably can’t be achieved through voting alone… but removing Republicans from office so that they can’t actively make things worse seems like a big step to achieving this to me.

Yes, BUT it’s sort of important to remember that huge numbers of voters are loosely, or not at all, aligned with either party. Binary vision has cost Democrats in recent election. That and assuming people won’t vote against their interests when they do it time and time again.
