Looks like a Renaissance painting.
I’d say pre-renaissance, they look like medieval peasants.
I’m certainly no expert on the subject, but it seems that particular style may have began in the Late Middle Ages but carried over into the Renaissance. TIL the art of both ages are broken down into several sub-ages.
