Elon Musk has said an Axios report that the Department of Justice and Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) had concluded there was no evidence of a Jeffrey Epstein client list was the “final straw”.

The report also said the agencies had concluded there was no credible evidence the disgraced financier and pedophile blackmailed high-profile and prominent individuals, and confirmed that surveillance footage showed Epstein had killed himself in prison.

“So… umm… then what is Ghislaine Maxwell in prison for?” Musk posted to his X platform, referring to Epstein’s former girlfriend and associate who procured underage girls for him to abuse.

No one ever asks why Epstein was allowed to kill himself. Who gave the order to take him off suicide watch? I remember people at the time screaming that it was a bad idea.

I didn’t hear too much about the first time. I don’t remember it. I know he was on suicide watch. Then he suddenly wasn’t with every medical professional saying he needed to stay on suicide watch. Was he on suicide watch the first time?

He continued his lifestyle while he was still in jail.

He only had to spend nights at the jail and he still had women visit him constantly. No one knew what they were doing because the guards were not allowed to guard him.

Epstein was also allowed out of the stockade for up to 12 hours a day, six days a week on work-release after agreeing to pay off-duty deputies to guard him at his office at 250 Australian Ave. On workdays, Epstein’s driver picked him up at the stockade and drove him several miles to his office — just steps away from Goldberger’s office — at a nonprofit he founded seven months before he pleaded guilty.

To be clear, that was in 2008 when he was serving time in Florida. The situation in 2019 in NYC was very different.

Yes. He has been in jail more than once.

To be clear, again, why didn’t he suicide himself the first time he was in jail?

Why didn’t he commit suicide the first time he was in jail? Didn’t you just explain that? He got a free day pass, and when he was in jail he was allowed to leave his cell to go to a nearby one to watch TV. His future looked bright. It just seemed like he had a little annoyance to put up with for a while and then he was going to go back to living it up.

The second time it was pretty clear that his lifestyle was over. They were throwing the book at him, and he was likely going to spend the rest of his life in prison. That’s what I imagine was going through his head.

I think the onus ultimately falls upon the head of the DOJ at the time (Barr, if I recall correctly), who was appointed by trump, and at the time loyal to him.

Nobody ever asks “are suicides not common?” Nobody ever asks “are US prisons run correctly?”

We average like 50 suicides a year in federal prisons. Despite being under watch, suicides are greater in prison populations than in the general population.

US prisons are not run correctly. People are not taken care of, or kept from hurting themselves and others, and there’s negligence and abuse and more.

Why is Epstein killing himself in federal prison weird? That’s literally a trait of conspiracy nuts: they never allow small things to be responsible for big outcomes.

Why is Epstein killing himself in federal prison weird?

That prison had a great record. I read somewhere that the previous suicide at the Metropolitan Correctional Center was over a decade before Epstein’s. Google is now too enshitified to find the source though.

Also Epstein told multiple people he was not feeling suicidal nor was he acting so.

there is zero reason for anyone to believe Epstein killed himself even if we are given direct evidence from the state itself. everything from them is suspect and should not be trusted regardless of the quality provided. why would anyone listen to the words of a government that inherently distrusts its citizens and wants, objectively, the worst for them? even if Epstein actually did kill himself we are never going to accept that as a society and honestly, we shouldn’t, because this is absolutely something those in power would do and we should never forget that or become complacent to it.

Honestly occam’s razor says that there is likely no amazing smoking gun detailing all these people and all the terrible things they did like the right (and beyond but hear me out) has been claiming without evidence for years, but rather there are probably just some travel logs that hint or imply if you squint hard enough and aren’t really that interesting or damning on their own. So now the conspiracy theorists control the White House and with it the flow of information, they have the opportunity to release the information they swear exists, and yet the conspiracy doesn’t work anymore because they can’t claim “the powers that be” are protecting anyone without attacking Trump now.

The beflief is that Epstein collected and kept evidence that he could use to blackmail his wealthy and powerful clients, either on behalf of an intelligence agency which he had claimed to have ties to, or just to protect himself and gain personal influence and power.

This isn’t a right wing conspiracy, it cuts across the US political spectrum

I know what the conspiracy is, and I’m bringing up the right specifically (and I made sure to preface that I was doing that and that this conspiracy extends beyond them but I guess you missed it) because the far right currently controls the government and a lot of the right wing political grift hinges on things like “Trump is going to release the truth about Epstein and all the people who were part of his network.”

When Biden was president and the democrats controlled the senate, the right screeched for years that Biden and his administration were protecting the pedophiles. Now they have control, and nothing has changed. They can’t explain it without attacking Trump. Which they’ll never do directly because 1) he’s critical to their income and 2) look how well that’s gone for Musk

Right. They had videos from Diddy and couldn’t take him down beyond the smaller charges. People seem to forget you need proof beyond a reasonable doubt for a criminal conviction.

On the fifth floor, FBI agents also found a shelf full of large black binders. The binders held CDs, carefully categorised in plastic slipcovers and thumbnails with photos on them.

According to reports at the time, a trove of lewd photographs of children was found in the safe at the property.

Court papers said that alongside photos were compact discs with handwritten labels including: “‘Young [Name] + [Name],’ ‘Misc nudes 1,’ and ‘Girl pics nude.”

Imagine being so spun up by qanon that you are driven to support the Rapist-in-Chief (and besties with Epstein), thinking Taco was going to do something about the child rape that…checks notes…the Democrats supposedly do (lol)? Even when it was the rapist-in-chief that was found guilty of rape? Remember, it was Hillary and crew that was supposedly trafficking children out of the basement of a basementless pizza parlor?

Can even one of these idiots make it make sense, even in their fictional universe? None of this makes any sense at all.

Here’s Elon just before the 2024 election telling Tucker Carlson:

If Trump wins that Epstein client list is gonna become public. And some of those billionaires behind Kamala are terrified of that outcome
