It seems that they have definitely started to show themselves so much more that TACO is in office now.

I suppose people are starting to notice.

I’ve thought about this a lot since Luigi. The power of these alt reality movements is derived from their mouthpieces. Without their army of apologists, every ridiculous lie sounds as stupid as it is and always was.

Being a professional shill/propagandist for these people should be one of the most dangerous jobs in the world, and I’m surprised that’s not the case. So, smart move on Ben. He should hang up the towel, and find a real job.

Ben Shapiro killed Charlie Kirk. After all, Ben Shapiro was the rising star replacement for Rush Limbaugh until Charlie Kirk came along and passed him up, and became the big MAGA Media darling.

Now Shapiro is back on top. He stands to benefit the most by Kirk’s death. Obviously, Shapiro did it.

Nah, he was Seal Team Sixed by Trump for not being a blind devoted follower. See Kirk’s flip flop on Epstein files. Yes, he publicly acquiesced but that showed too much independent thought that, with his following, organization, and youth, was a threat that required fatal consequences.

A theory that I buy 100%. There is video of him 2 weeks later with no bandage, and there isn’t the slightest thing wrong with his ear. It should have taken a chunk off his ear, and there wasn’t even a scab.

The whole thing was a pre-convention hoax, meant to drum up support. Remember how all of them were wearing bandages on their ears to show solidarity?

Seems obvious to me, but MAGA Nazis aren’t quick on the uptake. Their primary characteristic, after treason, racism, ignorance, and pedophilia, is virtuosic incompetence. Frankly, it’s what will finally save America. Their breathtaking stupidity is unsustainable, and will eventually lead to their failure and collapse.

I get the viewpoint, but it did hit a bit differently when people that actively promote offensively hateful viewpoints and widespread gun availability incur the exact sort of expected outcome you’d expect from going down that path.

If you callously say murders are worth it to have guns everywhere, then this can be expected.

If he goes out of his way to stir up a hornets nest to try to hurt others in the area, then I’m not going to be too surprised that he gets stung.

Even as this should be a sign to tone down the rhetoric, a lot of them are doubling down with confrontational perspectives (well out of reach of the public mind you).

America’s unwillingness to give up guns has desensitized us to violence. Tit-for-tat political violence was the obvious outcome of that. Now even if the country implemented sensible gun policies, I think it’s too late. The violence will continue because we’re desensitized to it

I don’t have a solution. We’ll likely live with gun violence as a daily occurrence for the rest of our lives. It’ll be a slow and painful recovery if there is one

No no, Ben, god chose you, he’ll just gently blow any bullets out of the way, right? Because god exists? And prayer works? He created the universe and shit?

I want to punch this weasel-faced rat just on principle, but especially because of his overt religiosity, and therefore dangerous insanity.

Why isn’t religion a mental illness?

Most of these generic American Christians are taught it was gods will. That is… ANYTHING is gods will. I used to find that so interesting as I was raised in all that abuse. No matter WHAT happens, it’s always god that intended it or wanted it. There was some “purpose” or reason.

      How convenient.

My parents also loved to lean into how they only had to answer to god. Also convenient.

I can only think of USSR and DPRK. maybe Maoist China, but China (at least now) allows religion (though it prohibits Tibetan Buddhism and iirc Islam.)

I definitely wouldn’t consider DPRK to “shine with the best of humanity.” good luck to you if you decide to move there; don’t pull an Otto Warmbier!
