So their first-year-law-school failing DOJ leads will argue that they need ICE there to stop voter fraud, which force is necessary to “repel armed enemies of the United States” since hypothetically the rampant fraudsters could be armed.
Either Trump will just do it without any lawsuit-ripening warning, or if his demented brain reveals his plans early and a suit is filed in time, the Supreme Court will hear the emergency appeal of the inevitable district and appellate findings that it is unconstitutional, and issue a shadow docket ruling that overturns the (ruling upholding the) Constitution without comment or reasoning.

Have agents sit outside polling places with facial recognition technology that flags anyone on that database that is likely to vote Democrat and detain a number of them until the polling ends then release them without charge. This prevents them from voting and can have a significant impact on the outcome of the elections.
On top of that they’re going to have mail in ballots thrown out, further interfering with free and fair elections.

I learned something interesting about the upcoming Brazilian elections the other day that seems intended to counter exactly this kind of thing: there’s a law (and perhaps it’s in the constitution, I don’t recall exactly) that says that no one shall be arrested for a couple of days around the election date, unless someone is caught in the act of a crime or if it’s for a major crime.
Can’t vote for the opposition if you are arrested and shot in the back. 🫲🍊🫱
